CEON-9 is a brand of polymer-framed, short recoil-operated, locked-breech semi-automatic pistols designed and produced by Turkish manufacturer Ceonic Arms & Defence. CEON-9 allows one to easily customize its grip to add comfort, regardless of the shooter's hand size, generation has a new effective frame roughening as well as on the replaceable slide-on backs. CEON-9 has three insert options, small, medium and large or you can leave the pistol as is, in small or what refer to as short frame configuration.

Instead of a cock, they have a partially pre-stretched firing pin, which is fully extended by pressing the trigger. After the cartridge is fired, it returns to its original state when the trigger is released.

The Safe Action system includes:

Trigger - when the trigger is pressed, the lever protruding in front of the trigger is first pressed, which prevents the trigger from being moved unintentionally,

Firing pin – a metal sprung roller, preventing the firing pin from penetrating the primer until the trigger is pressed,

Falling - the firing pin is held in place until the trigger is fully depressed.

CEON-9 do not have an external (manual) safety.
