Security & First Use

SAFETY

  • Always assume that firearms capable of firing ammunition, such as pistols, are loaded. First, point the weapon in a safe direction and open the chamber to ensure it is empty.
  • Do not shoot the pistol at people or animals from close range (at least 5 meters), keep a safe distance.
  • Never leave your pistol with a loaded magazine and a round in the chamber. Never give it to minors or children.
  • The sound dB level will be higher indoors and can damage your eardrum; we recommend using ear protection.
  • It is extremely dangerous to shoot in the presence or vicinity of babies and young children; it should never be done.
  • When shooting indoors, ventilation is essential as inhaling the gases released by the rounds can be harmful to your health. Whenever possible, it is recommended to shoot outdoors.
  • For your safety, avoid holding the pistol close to your head or in line with your ear while shooting.
  • Even though it discharges only blanks, the 10 – 15 cm flame from the barrel is highly incendiary.
  • It can cause clothing, hair, and easily flammable chemicals to catch fire; avoid shooting at close range and directly.

FIRST USE

  • Remove the magazine of your pistol by pressing the button on the left side of the grip. Take the magazine in one hand, and with the other hand, push the blank cartridge (9×22 PAK) forward by pressing on the follower of the magazine.
  • Press the other cartridges one on top of the other. The CEONIC ISSC M22 9mm (P.A.K.) has a 16-round magazine capacity.
  • After loading, slide the magazine back into the pistol until you hear a locking sound, and to feed a round into the chamber, quickly pull and release the slide or press the slide release lever to allow the slide to move forward rapidly with the force of the spring, feeding and locking the round into the chamber.
  • Your pistol is now loaded and ready to fire. Never let go of your pistol and only point it in a safe direction.
  • During the loading/unloading procedure, always turn the pistol in a safe direction to check if there are any rounds in the barrel or magazine.
  • Only touch the trigger when you intend to fire. Otherwise, do not keep your finger on the trigger.
